STATS

  • 21 skins available in total

  • Realistic physics model of the 2022 MAD Formula Team challenger, based on real life data and tested by real world drivers. 235kg and 70bhp

  • Full suite of setup options available

  • Moving wishbones, animated fan, moveable wing, driver inputs and pedal cover

  • MFT02 EVO edition (a more powerful version of the car): Due to certain engine regulations, engine performance is restricted at Formula Student events. This EVO takes those restrictions away for a total of 121 bhp instead of 70, giving it more speed down the straights while maintaining all the cornering capabilities the normal version has.

  • MFT02 Hybrid spec: In collaboration with Formula Student Alpe Adria, a hybrid spec of the MFT02 race car has been developed, with the intention of using this spec in the Virtual FSAA tournament. This car is based on the standard MFT02, and a KERS style hybrid system inspired in FS rules has been added to increase strategy and overtaking opportunities in wheel-to-wheel racing. Special thanks to Christian Abslasser for collaborating on the development of the system. The specs of the hybrid system are as follows:

    • Electric power: 10 bhp (7kW)

    • Total battery energy: 140 kJ

    • Maximum deployment per lap: 10 seconds

    • 4 dashboard LEDs to reflect SOC (blue) and notify when maximum deployment per lap has been reached (red)

    • Hybrid power is deployed when the driver pushes the KERS button, so make sure you map that on your wheels!
